Non-commutative L^p-spaces and analysis on quantum spaces

In this talk we will take a look at analysis on quantum spaces using non-commutative L^p spaces. We will first review what a non-commutative L^p space is, and then we will see few examples of quantum spaces where L^p analysis problems arise naturally. We just assume that the audience is familiar with usual L^p-spaces from real analysis classes.
